O RLY? Birther Queen Coyly Calls for Armed Insurrection Against Obama Regime

Looks Like Orly Taitz' Bad Year Could Still Get Even Worse

Birther Queen Taitz in recent screen test for Courtney Love biopic.

Ben Frumin tips us off via Talking Points Memo:
In a blog post on her website titled "It might be time now," birther queen Orly Taitz seemed to suggest today a call to arms against President Obama:

What is the real intention of this Kenyan, Indonesian communist usurper? Is it to provide security for us or to destroy our security? Judge for yourself.

Seeing targeted destruction of our economy, our security, dissipation of American jobs, massive corruption in the Government, Congress Department of Justice and Judiciary, it might be time to start rallies and protests using our second amendment right to bear arms and organise in militias. >more...

Two-Thirds of "Tea Party Express" Funding Went Back to GOP Consultants That Created It

Our Country Deserves Better? Doesn't Look Like It...

GOP Astroturfer Sal Russo: I've got yer cash, beyotches!

Zachary Roth writes at Talking Points Memo:
The political action committee behind the Tea Party Express (TPE) -- which already has been slammed as inauthentic and corporate-controlled by rival factions in the Tea Party movement -- directed almost two thirds of its spending during a recent reporting period back to the Republican consulting firm that created the PAC in the first place.

Our Country Deserves Better (OCDB) spent around $1.33 million from July through November, according to FEC filings examined by TPMmuckraker. Of that sum, a total of $857,122 went to Sacramento-based GOP political consulting firm Russo, Marsh, and Associates, or people associated with it.

OCDB, which built the Tea Party Express, is essentially a Russo, Marsh creation, as we've detailed. The PAC's site was registered in July 2008 by Sal Russo, the firm's founder. That site also lists Russo as the PAC's "chief strategist." Tea Party Express fundraising emails, sent by OCDB and obtained by TPMmuckraker, come from another Russo, Marsh employee, Joe Wierzbicki. >more...

Michele Bachmann: Welfare Cheat!

"Queen of the Teabaggers" Sucks Down Corrupt Farm Subsidies to the Tune of $250,000

Michele "You Be Da' Man" Bachman: Crack Is Whack!

Yasha Levine writes at The eXiled:

Michele Bachmann has become known as the Queen of the anti-government Tea Baggers, protesting health care reform and slamming every other government handout as “socialism.” But what her followers don’t know is that Rep. Bachmann is also a queen of another kind—a welfare queen. That’s right, the anti-government insurrectionist has taken more than a quarter-million dollars in government handouts thanks to corrupt farming subsidies she has been collecting for at least a decade.

And she’s not the only one who has been padding her bank account with taxpayer money.

Bachmann, of Minnesota, has spent much of this year agitating against health care reform, whipping up the tea-baggers with stories of death panels and rationed health care. She has called for a revolution against what she sees as Barack Obama’s attempted socialist takeover of America, saying presidential policy is “reaching down the throat and ripping the guts out of freedom...” >more

Merry Christmas from the enraged white people who've taken over the GOP!

SMACKDOWN! Injunction Granted to ACORN Against Congressional Defunding

Epic WIN! US District Court Judge Takes Politicians to School, Refreshes Memory on Bills Of Attainder

Muriel Kane reports from The Raw Story:
A US District Court judge has granted a preliminary injunction against last September's defunding of anti-poverty group ACORN by a vote of Congress.

ACORN had filed a lawsuit claiming that Congress's action violated the explicit Constitutional prohibition against bills of attainder -- punishments handed out to an isolated individual or group by legislative proceedings rather than through the courts.

The judge agreed that "the plaintiffs have raised a fundamental issue of separation of powers. They have been singled out by Congress for punishment that directly and immediately affects their ability to continue to obtain federal funding, in the absence of any judicial, or administrative, process adjudicating guilt."

Representatives of ACORN and of the Center for Constitutional Rights, which brought the suit on their behalf, were jubilant following the ruling. CCR Vice President Jules Lobel was quoted in a CCR press release as saying, "This historic decision by the Court affirms the fundamental constitutional principle that the Congress cannot be judge, jury, and executioner."

ACORN Executive Director Bertha Lewis proclaimed that "the court's decision is a victory not only for the many dedicated citizens who work with ACORN to improve their communities and promote responsible lending and homeownership, but for the Constitution and the rights of all Americans..." >more

Facebookers! Get Virtual Game Cash for Healthcare Reform Astroturfing!

One more reason to stay the hell away from Facebook (as if you needed it):

Laura Northrup writes at The Consumerist:
Don't want to fork over actual cash or start a shady "free" trial in order to get sweet, sweet virtual currency for your favorite game on Facebook or MySpace? Well, you could always take a health care survey that pays you to tell your representatives in Congress how opposed you are to health care reform. Mmm, smell that astroturf! >more

P'wah hah! ACORN Dick-Slaps Ohio GOP in Voter Registration Lawsuit

Matthew "The Mad Midget" Vadum Shrank by Two More Inches on the News

The Associated Press reports, via the Hudson Hub Times:

Cleveland -- The state has agreed to settle a federal court lawsuit over expanded voter-registration procedures for low-income people.

Under the agreement filed last week in U.S. District Court in Cleveland, low-income people must be given the chance to register to vote when applying for public assistance. The lawsuit said such services are required by the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.

The lawsuit was filed three years ago on behalf of the group ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, and two people who went to welfare offices but weren't asked about registering to vote, Carrie Harkless of Lorain and Tameca Mardis of Cleveland.

The settlement agreement includes Ohio's top election official, Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Brunner's spokesman, Jeff Ortega, said Nov. 30 that her office would abide by the settlement... >more

Stupidest. Issue. Ad. EVER.

Teabagging Anti-Healthcare Reform "Issue Ad" Hinges on Claim that TWELVE BIG PERCENT of Surveyed Voters Believe Opponents of Current Healthcare Bill are Racist

In fact, if you were to ask many of us, you'll find that we're opposed to the current bill because it's another corporate giveaway, because of the threat of fines and imprisonment for not being able to afford health insurance, because of the sellout of womens' reproductive rights, because single-payer advocates were shut out of Obama's big "healthcare summit" in favor of corporations, and because the part of the bill even remotely resembling single-payer -- the picked-over old bone known as "public option" -- is likely to be eliminated as well in the Senate version.

Of course, you wouldn't know it from this scaremongering, ham-handed attempt at pro-corporate propaganda:

"Going Rogue" Book Tour Goes Rogue

Palin Quits On The Job, Bails Early From Indiana Book Signing; Fans Boo, Jeer, Go Apeshit

ABOVE: Future Sarah Palin (left) returns to the Present to avert coming 2012 disaster.

Foster Kamer writes at The Gawker:
Evil Twin-spawning Sarah Palin isn't catching any easy breaks lately. Should she? Better ask her fans who, oh wait, are now booing her. And when Martha Stewart calls you out, damn, you know you've set some kind of bar.

Not exaggerating. Martha Stewart got asked by CNN why Sarah Palin's polarizing. Martha calls her "boring," "confused," "a dangerous person," and a "real problem." The best is when Martha throws down on a patronizing "good for her" when told about her book sales and then, after, "I wouldn't watch her if you pay me." SHOTS FIRED!

And then there's this wonderful clip. Palin dipped out of a signing early, and got booed by her fans, who were pissed that they didn't get their books signed. It goes without saying that Palin's fans sound just as patently insane hating her as they do loving her, but hey, you can't put lipstick on an neglectful idol, or whatever. Or you can, but, she's still gonna stiff you for a book signature.

Funniest. Campaign. Web Site. EVER.

Teabagging Congressional Candidate George Hutchins Ready to Provide a Gob-Smacking Good Time in North Carolina's 4th District

We're speechless -- really, absolutely at a loss for words when confronted by this pair of clown's pants that looks as if it was designed by somebody's thirteen-year-old nephew. It seems serendipitous, somehow, that this Web site appears within a month after Yahoo shut down Geocities, known Web wide as the home of butt-ugly Web sites designed by stupid losers. In fact, about the only things missing here are the blinking text and the busted inline image links.

Here's Hutchins on the Civil Rights Act of 1964:
To stop the OBAMA-NATION Socialists in Washington DC, we must first go to the root of the POISON TREE, which created all them.

This POISON TREE, is the "Social Engineering" located within the so-called 1964 Civil Rights Act, to the U.S. Constitution.

The ONLY REASON, the so-called 1964 Civil Rights Act passed, was due the fact, Lyndon B. JOHNSON, had many political debts owed to him, in 1964.

=> During 1964, if one did NOT repay their political debts, when they were called due, such a politician's political career was over.

=> Lyndon B. JOHNSON called all his debts in 1964.

To DEFEAT OBAMA-NATION, we must take a close look at all of the "Social Engineering" contained in the so called 1964 Civil Rights Act, and take legal steps to remove this "Social Engineering" contained in the so-called 1964 Civil Rights Act.

"Social Engineering," includes FORCED DIVERSITY, FORCED RACIAL INTEGRATION, Affirmative Action Quotas Based on Race, and all Privileges Based on Race, which are influenced by the so-called 1964 Civil Rights Act to the U.S. Constitution.

We must use all of our resources NOW, to prevent ALL future U.S. Generations from suffering under the same bondage which were forced upon all of us, due to the so-called 1964 Civil Rights Act.

We've already run out of the words to express our amazement at this... this... Web site. We can only suggest that you have a couple of bong hits, open a cold one, and have a look for yourself at this jangling cornucopia of cheap laffs, this motherlode of hilarity.

Go on, we dare you. We double-dog dare you.

The Left Finally Gets It: Teabagger Ass Kicked by Pro-Immigrant Protesters in Florida

ANSWER Coalition Ready to Rumble

This just in, from The eXiled:

The Tea Party blogosphere is all abuzz with whiny articles about how they’re being oppressed by “violent liberals,” and they’re using this video (which deserves a laugh track and Benny Hill theme song accompaniment) as proof of the Liberal Tyranny. I thought “liberal violence” was an oxymoron, a punchline in a Simpson’s episode. But maybe it’s finally coming true again, the rise of the gutsy leftie willing to fight after 40 years of leftwing slumbering in the face of relentless rightwing assaults.

Whatever side you’re on, if you’re a lover of the sport, you’ve gotta admit this adds excitement to the debate. Because in the end it’s not whether you win or lose…unless of course you’re a short-haired rightwing cop-wannabe getting your ass kicked by a sign-wielding longhair. Then you definitely, definitely don’t want to lose. Especially not when it’s caught on camera and distributed all over the internet. In fact if I were giving advice here, I’d tell that Tea Party dude not to go the Kenneth Gladney martyr-in-a-wheelchair route, because, well, look at Gladney. Is that what you want to become?

And, here's more from Daryle Lamont Jenkins at One People's Project:

While we and other antifa were chasing David Irving around the New York Metropolitian area last weekend, a few anti-immigration rallies were being held. Talk about rebranding. Now that the whole Minuteklan thing went out of vogue, the anti-immigration folks are calling their rallies "Tea Parties"! So these newly christened teabaggers decided to hold a coordinated effort to hold demos in 53 towns against immigration. Now William Gheen of the American for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC), put out an open letter to white supremacists saying they are not welcome and will be removed, but considering how much they represented regardless, like Keystone United members showing up (yet again) at Voice of the People's rally in Hazelton, PA, that letter just came across as Gheen's way to cover his ass. Well in Florida, it appears the ANSWER Coalition chose to kick some. Anti-Immigration groups are on the internet crying about a video showing a little scuffle in Ft. Lauderdale, FL involving members of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement and a ANSWER who countered their demo on Saturday. They have released a statement giving their side of the story and why they came out in the first place. We are going to hear more about this as time goes on, but before this gets buried in the media's attempt to say that ANSWER is just as bad as the Nazis because they confronted said Nazis let's hear from ANSWER. Now we have got to give props to ANSWER because a few years ago, when they organized an anti-war march in Washington, DC counter-demonstrators from what was called the "Gathering of Eagles" felt it was quite alright to put their hands on anyone that marched by. So let the right-wingers cry. Frankly, they set the bar, and ANSWER does not sound like they are going to allow crap like theirs to go...unpunished! >more

It's MOVIE NIGHT: A Teabagger Double Feature!

Local Nazis Blow Teabaggers' Cover at Arizona Anti-Immigration Rally, Teabaggers Get Pissed
"We're not racists, really we're not," say Phoenix Xenophobes

As a gaggle of Teabaggers gathered to show their hatred of foreigners and immigrants -- all immigrants, not just "illegal" ones -- a small splinter group who was basically more open and honest about their beliefs showed up brandishing a large portrait of their idol, Adolf Hitler. Needless to say, the more "moderate" faction, irate at having their true intentions flaunted in public, made it clear in no uncertain terms that they really needed to keep that shit quiet; inevitably, scuffles erupted and hilarity ensued.

Minnesota Teabaggers Punked at State Capitol Rally
Brave, Ballsy Prankster Tricks Rightist Rubes Into Cheering for Removal of European-Descended Whites from USA

Daniel Tencer reports at The Raw Story:
A speaker at an anti-immigration rally in Minneapolis this past weekend got the crowd to support more than just the deportation of all illegal immigrants -- he got them cheering for the eviction of all European-descended immigrants to America who "stole this land through genocide and ethnic cleansing."

A crowd of some 40 people showed up to the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol on Saturday to protest proposed reform of US immigration law. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Friday that the Obama administration was pushing for immigration reform that would create a pathway for the legalization of undocumented immigrants.

Napolitano said she would like to see a "tough, fair" plan that would allow illegal migrants to gain legal status if they pay a fine, pass a criminal background check, pay all back taxes and learn English.

That idea brought 40 anti-immigration protesters to Saturday's protest, as well as 30 pro-immigration reform counter-protesters, according to FightBackNews in Minneapolis.

One of those protesters, going by the alias "Robert Erickson," got a speaking spot at the rally and used it to argue for the eviction of all descendants of European immigrants -- in other words, that contingent of white Americans who these days see themselves as "real" Americans... >more

Teabaggaz Wit' Attitude!

Florida Tea Partier Running for Orlando City Council on "Law And Order" Platform Nailed in Drug Bust; Looking at 15 Years

Bob Hazen reports, via WDBO Radio, Orlando:

A candidate trying to unseat Orlando City Commissioner Daisy Lynum was arrested for drug charges late Thursday night.

Ezell "EZ" Harris was the target of what the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation dubbed "Operation EZ": agents raided his home and business, Easy Travel Plan Net, on Parramore Avenue after allegations of drug trafficking were made on October 6th. The arrest warrant was issued October 8th.

EZ Harris has been a vocal critic of Lynum for years, and more recently denounced OPD Chief Val Demings for losing her department-issued gun. He's running for city council on a "law and order" platform.

Jail records show Harris was booked at 9:48 p.m. and faces four charges, including trafficking in 14 grams or more of hydrocodone, dispensing drugs without a license, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

If convicted, the trafficking charge would put Harris behind bars for a long time: the warrant states it carries a 15-year minimum sentence.

On his campaign website, Harris notes "I have no criminal record. I have never been arrested."

He's being held in lieu of $100,400 bail.

Fox News Is Ready for Your Protest

O RLY, Orly? "Courtney Love Of The Teabagger Movement" Hosts Paltry "Birther" Protest at Fox News in NYC; "Long-Legged Mack Daddy" Epithet-Hurling Preacher James David Manning Also Present

If nothing else, the "Birther Movement" sideshow of the Teabaggers is always good for cheap laffs, especially after being totally punked both in court, and by MSNBC's Chris Matthews who -- let's not forget -- actually brandished a real copy of Obama's real birth certificate on live TV in front of everybody and their cat. Still, inexplicably, they just keep begging for more, like the Black Knight in Monty Python And The Holy Grail after he's had both arms and both legs hacked off.

Hamilton Nolan reports from The Gawker:
This memo went out to News Corp employees today, advising them of a protest that should be going on right now. [UPDATE: It's birther queen Orly Taitz and her Birther Brigade!]

Please be advised that a demonstration, directed at FOX News and consisting of approximately 150 people, is expected in front of 1211 today (Wednesday, November 11) from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The NYPD will be present to monitor the demonstration along with News Corporation security.

Although no disruptions are expected, you may wish to contact any visitors or appointments you are expecting this afternoon and suggest they allow additional time for processing. If you are booking car service this afternoon, request pick up on 48th Street.

We also encourage employees to use the alternate entrances at the back of the building and on the C-1 level if the main entrance becomes congested. As a reminder, it is always recommended that you NOT display your building ID card once outside of 1211. This is particularly important when arriving and departing the building during the demonstration.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Corporate Security Manager Lee Boody through the Security Operations Center at [redacted].

    Karl Solterer
    Vice President, Corporate Security
    News Corporation

If you look off to the immediate left of Orly in the photo, you'll see Rev. James David Manning, Ph.D., of the Atlah World Ministries, infamous on YouTube for his pro-rightist, pro-Teabagger, pro-Birther rants about Obama being a "Long-Legged Mack Daddy". His Web site doesn't say where he got his Ph.D., though from the sound of things, he might have gotten it from DeVry. Unrepentant Spammer to Host "Jobs Tea Party" on Capitol Hill

This handsome devil is Carlos Gil, CEO of a dime-a-dozen job-search site called JobsDirectUSA.com, which would've remained unknown to us had he not spammed us with an announcement for his "Jobs Tea Party" event at the Capitol this Friday, the 6th. However, the fact that this guy's organization spammed us with an invitation to an event cashing in on the whole "Tea Party" hype led us to save that email -- instead of shit-canning it, as we normally do with spam -- and do a little rooting around on the 'Net, starting with some casual Googling for Carlos Gil. Lo and behold, ask and ye shall receive, in the form of Carlos' Twitter site:

* Name Carlos Gil
* Location Jacksonville, FL
* Web http://www.carlosgil.us/
* Bio I'm a 26 y/o CEO from Florida. Last Nov. I lost my job and turned to online networking. Today, I run JobsDirectUSA.com & host Pink Slip Party networking events.

The URL in his bio redirects to his company, CXG Group, your standard-issue, garden-variety Web 2.0 marketing and consulting (and spamming, apparently) startup in Jacksonville, Florida -- as we recall, one of the spam capitals of the USA.

Here's the standard blather from his "About" page:

Seven years ago Carlos Gil, a Florida native, was selling shoes as a part-time job at a mall in Fort Lauderdale. Since then, Carlos has spent the last several years working in Branch and Client Management positions for Fortune 500 corporations such as American International Group (AIG), Citigroup and Regions Bank. After years of hard work, dedication and professional development Carlos Gil is now the President and CEO of CXG Group LLC based out of Jacksonville, FL...

Wowie zowie, that's some Horatio Alger story, there. Our boy went from Al Bundy to AIG middle management...not that big a jump, really, when you think about it.

With a little more casual Googling, we found Carlos' current Facebook page. We say "current" because he's apparently had two Facebook accounts closed down, but he doesn't say why, though it could be due to an effort to pick up as many "followers" as he could in the shortest amount of time.

Checking out the Facebookers he's a "fan" of, we find:
"American Free Enterprise", which is, in turn, run by the Web site Free Enterprise America, which is a "project" of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who's just recently filed a SLAPP lawsuit against the Yes Men for parodying their Web site, and who are about as Teabagger as you can get without coming right out and saying so.

Still, it looks like a few job seekers weren't entirely thrilled with one of Carlos' cheesy job fairs:

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Hundreds flocked to a downtown hotel today looking for something that's hard to find these days -- a job.

But many that turned out said they left even more frustrated. There were long lines, and that meant a lot of competition for companies' attention at the Northeast Florida Fall Career Expo at the Omni Hotel.

"It's very hard; you can see by the line and the people," said Juan Figueroa, a job seeker.

And one job seeker didn't like what he saw once he got to the front of the lines. "I'm not impressed with it at all, not a lot of jobs. Mostly schools and that type of thing," said David Pugh.

Pugh is one of more than 1,000 people who attended to look for some kind of job. Unemployed for a few months now, career fairs are only one technique he uses to get ahead. "It's pretty difficult. I do apply every day and get on the internet."

But some tell us that despite the competition, meeting company officials face to face is key. "It's going great," said Davalyn Williams, a student. "I'm just looking for a job while I'm in school."

The event was organized by Carlos Gil of jobsdirectusa.com who said participating companies were ready to hire at least 100 people. "Last year I lost my job...I decided to pay it forward and help as many folks as possible find jobs," he said.

There's no word yet how many people actually wind up with a new position today. The Expo continues until 8 p.m. at the Omni downtown.

Now, we don't know about you, but here at the TW, we instinctively roll our eyes whenever we hear some dweeb use trendy catch phrases like "pay it forward".

Oh, but wait! There's more! Seems Carlos has been reported to the FTC for spamming invites to his "pink slip parties". D'ohhhh!

Check out the discussion board at Carlos' Facebook site, where you can see him spin it 'til it pukes:
Carlos Gil A guy named George Metcalfe from Bank Atlantic e-mailed me that he reported me to the FTC and his "huge network of colleagues in Orlando" because I sent him several invites to attend a Pink Slip Party/Mixer. My response to him is, "If helping people find jobs is a crime in this day and age so be it!"

And, check out one of the replies:
Marvin White Don't be discouraged by that, if he's taking time (which he won't) to do all of that, why couldn't he just say "no, I won't be attending" or "please remove me from your list." Let him be, people that enjoy wallowing in negativity are too conditioned to even try and combat. He'll destroy himself eventually with his negativity. Keep pushing!!
October 10 at 3:50am

...to which our boy Carlos replies:
Carlos Gil He actually DID report me to the FTC b/c he sent me the e-mail confirmation with a case# but I am NOT going to sweat it. The FTC has bigger fish to fry and bigger cases to be worried about (such as: child porn, illegal downloads, fishing schemes) than some guy who is putting together events for the unemployed and sending mass invites. Like I told him, if it's a crime to HELP the jobless than so be it...I could care less what Metcalfe or any other party crasher has to say
October 10 at 8:18am

Yeaahhhhh! If spamming is a crime, then so be it! So, take that, ya' filthy Marxist public-option-healthcare-supporting scum! (oh, and btw Carlos... we got the pdfs, we got the screen shots)

But, wait! There's EVEN MORE! Check out this Facebook discussion thread containing this reply to a Twitter-spamming complaint from a Personnel rep at Capitol One:
Carlos Gil How is this for rudeness, an HR Rep from Capital One Tweets "Anyone else getting CONSTANTLY spammed by #JaxCareerExpo? I have a job and we're not hiring, now leave me alone!" Excuse me Sarah Brown but several thousand people living in Jacksonville DON'T have a job which is what my organization is trying to get you and yours to wake up and see so perhaps your company will do something about it.
September 17 at 10:18am
Needless to say, we're hoping to attend Carlos' "Jobs Tea Party" on Friday so that we can ask him about the spamming complaints and a few other things -- such as whether or not he's only concetrating on finding new jobs for unemployed fellow bankers and other "professionals" -- or, as we call them at the TW, "yuppie scum" -- or if he plans to help find work for all those people who lost their jobs building cars and computers and TV sets when their companies moved to Mexico, Asia, or anywhere else where labor and job-safety laws are lax, and where they can get away with paying substandard wages for sweatshop labor.

Oh, and this late word just in! Looks like Mr. Big Shot Young Entrepreneur has had another Facebook page shut down:
Carlos Gil Being a serial social networker has its consequences, Facebook shut down my latest account which had only been up for a little over a month. Below I have posted my newest Facebook profile.

Koch Family and Teabagger Loonies, 1961-2009: JFK Faced Same Crazy Rightwing Billionaire Family as Obama

Mark Ames writes in The eXiled:
While wasting time yesterday I looked up that bizarro rightwing “patriot” General Edwin A. Walker, who was fired by Kennedy for insubordination, and who was later allegedly nearly shot by Oswald in Texas, and who was tied to the notorious “JFK Wanted For Treason” flyer distributed in Dallas on the day of Kennedy’s assassination. (I posted that flyer in my last entry on the JFK-Obama Repeat scenario.)

Gen. Walker was yet another in a long illustrious line of
closet homosexual tea-bagger Republicans who, after the assassinations wound down and the South gave up fighting desegregation, ended his days in public toilets trying to suck off undercover cops a la Larry Craig. But Gen. Walker’s spirit lives on, as these chilling New York Times articles below show.

One thing that’s particularly interesting is what a true patriot Ike was, going against the insane wing of his party to support the President, despite their ideological differences. Compare that to W’s sulking-groundhog act, or Cheney’s role in firing up the crazies.

Also note that the far-rightwing John Birch Society which led the radical anti-JFK movement branding him a traitor was co-founded by none other than Fred Koch of Koch Industries. Like father, like sons: today, sons Charles and David Koch are co-founders and major funders of FreedomWorks, the Tea Party movement, Americans for Prosperity, and the crazy-rightwing movement branding Obama as a traitor...

Who'da thunk it? Top Teabagger, Husband in Trouble with IRS

Dumb Girl Politics? Tea Party Patriot Co-Founder Jenny Beth Martin.

The couple's bankruptcy filing, made in August 2008 to the US Bankruptcy Court for Georgia's Northern District, stated that Martin and her husband Lee Martin, of Woodstock, Georgia, owed the IRS $510,000, after making a payment of $16,640 that June. The couple also owed just over $71,000 to Ford Motor Credit, the automaker's financing arm... >more

An Andrew Beacham Spectacular!

Hiya, boys and girls; sorry to be gone so long, but have we got a boatload of goodies for you today!

Take a good look at this character shown here: one of our Top Ten Teabaggers, Andrew Beacham, anti-abortion activist with domestic terrorists Operation Rescue, who brought you the assassin of Dr. George Tiller -- at top left, being hauled off by the cops at the University of Maryland during Obama's healthcare speech; at top right, outside Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia on the first day of school last month; and, bottom, at the big Teabaggers' shindig on September 12.

And for a real treat, catch our boy in action in the video below, at a press conference held by Operation Rescue at the National Press Club in Washington back in August. Check him out at 03:50 through 04:36:

And, now, for our piece de resistance, a leaked advance copy of a literary masterwork: The Complete Tweets Of Andrew Beacham. See him brag about infiltrating a Planned Parenthood media training session in May:

# Yesterday, I infiltrated a Planned Parenthood media training lecture. "We are happy with the current healthcare proposal" they said. 12:08 PM Aug 13th from web

Oh, how we trembled here at the offices of TW upon first reading these diamond-hard nuggets of post-post-modern haiku. We just loved how he delivers the news of Planned Parenthood's support for the bill; you can almost imagine the same tone of voice alerting us that the Chinese were going to attack next week.

Download the entire works here as a .pdf, if you dare -- 1.5mb of the noble, fighting, poetic soul of a man in tortured outpourings of 140 characters or less. (Oh, and, Andy? We have the screen shots.)

"Radio Hate" is on the air!

Scary ACORN people are coming to get you!

Mike Flugennock writes and draws at the DC Indymedia Center:
Just so we're on the same page, here: community organizing group ACORN registered large numbers of black voters in Chicago for the last big "election". As is common in many registration campaigns, there's a fair number of wise-asses registering dead peoples' names, or fake names. Also, as is required by law by boards of elections in any US city I've been to, any bogus/invalid registrations are reported, to keep the voter rolls cleared of all the dead people, and all those Luke Skywalkers and Donald Ducks.

So, anyway, outfits like the Drudge Report (has anybody informed that bonehead that the '90s are over?) get hold of this and, in their own predictable, inimitable fashion, proceed to blow this up into some kind of bogus "scandal" and throw it to the rightist k00k crowd like so much fresh, raw meat. Still, you've got to love Drudge, if only because he carries on in the finest shrieking tabloid tradition -- never let the facts get in the way of a good story -- along with providing us all with some good cheap laffs.

Crawling from the wreckage, no. 3

Well, look who's back! It's our new Special Friend, Tim Jones, the man who hectored, harassed and hurled accusations of ACORN membership (as if it were a bad thing) at a small group of black youths attempting to practice a little Free Enterprise by selling little plastic Gadsden Flags to the knuckle-dragging mob of rightist nutcakes gathered at the big Teabaggers' shindig back a couple of weeks ago. Here he is, speaking from his top-secret compound at "an undisclosed location in Florida", attempting to justify his behavior in his own inimitable, rambling, mumbly, mealy-mouthed fashion and asking for a face-to-face with journalist Daryle Lamont Jenkins of One Peoples' Project:

"You've Got The Wrong Symbol, Boy!" Video of Man Calling Street Vendors "ACORN" As He Hounds Them Out Of "Tea Party" Rally Raises Questions

Daryle Lamont Jenkins writes at One Peoples' Project:

On the face of it, it's a video of a white man harassing a group of black kids out of a rally many feel had racist leanings. But the man says that the kids were from ACORN, a group he says is especially hostile to the agenda of the Sept. 12 "Tea Party" in Washington, DC. And he, Tim Jones, was someone who didn't want people from ACORN trying to disrupt or in this case selling flags to the assembled to raise money for their group, so he took it upon himself to make them leave. But then we add to this the fact that ACORN says they never sent anyone to the "Tea Party" rally, and in fact aren't in the business of sending people out there as vendors. This is a concern that has been raised over the past week, but Jones doesn't feel inclined to defend himself or for that matter make all that much of a presence since the video came out, and the person who shot the video is being dodgy trying to cry about our link to Max Blumenthal and telling us to "piss off". So with the credibility of both the cameraman and Jones himself in question, we have to assume with no other evidence saying otherwise, that these kids were not part of ACORN. And if we take that particular item out of the equation, what are we left with? A video of a lying white man harassing a group of black kids out of a rally many feel had racist leanings. Read on...

T-DAY: America Rebukes Scary Negro Socialism

"Listen! I Hear Black Helicopters Coming!"

Mike Flugennock
writes at the DC Indymedia Center (still photography by Isis)

Bitchy, greedy, stupid, paunchy White America was at its bitchiest, greediest, stupidest and paunchiest on this fine September afternoon. Never before had so many paid so much to fuel so many SUVs to be at such an historic event. The liberty to piss and moan about having a mixed-race President, to piss and moan about having to pony up for highways and bridges and libraries and schools and Medicare, to piss and moan about anything even remotely resembling national healthcare and demand the poor be allowed to sicken and die while pissing and moaning about how Obama is going to kill their grandmas, is a sacred liberty in this country, and bitchy, greedy, stupid, paunchy White America was there to exercise it.

There were people here who think Obama is a Nazi. There were people here who think he's a Socialist. There were people here who think he's some kind of "Manchurian Candidate". There were people here who were still demanding proof of Obama's citizenship even after Chris Matthews had waved a copy of the guy's birth certificate in front of everybody on TV, f'cripesake. There were people here who think the Universe is ten thousand years old.

The mind reels. One found oneself almost in awe.

Mike's video can also be downloaded as a 12.5 mb MPEG4 file from the DC Indymedia Center.

Walter Reed Teabaggers "Party Like It's 9/11!"

Despite Growing Public Dissatisfaction with Afghan War, DC's Left Largely MIA at Walter Reed Hospital Teabaggers' Tailgate Party

Mike Flugennock
writes at the DC Indymedia Center:
The largest ever concentration of white people in DC outside of a Capitals game gathered in front of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center to cheer the arrival of ambulance loads of wounded, maimed and traumatized youth and celebrate religious war.

Outnumbered nearly 4 to 1, DC's Left contingents hit rock bottom this evening in a disheartening display of direct inaction. Speculation among The Posse points to the vigil being "demojacked" by Code Pink, with all potential turnout being sucked away to a safer, drier, non-threatening, invisible indoor event further downtown.

THIS JUST IN: Teabaggers, Freepers Hatching Plans to Harass, Assault Walter Reed Hospital Peace Vigil on Evening Before Sept. 12 Event

Teabagger Definition (from Urban Dictionary):
"A whining fool shouting loudly for liberty but not willing to pay the bill."

The Walter Reed peace vigil has been a long standing event, supported by union members, antiwar activists and veterans. The purpose of the vigil is to shed light on the Army practice of bringing in wounded troops at night to hide the truth about the war. Freepers have a pattern of harassing the vigil; with the large turnout expected for the Teabagger/Freeper event on 9/12, the potential for severe intimidation of the vigil attendees is high.

Whatever your position on the troops, we ask you come out and lend your support. The vigil is held every Friday evening between Dahlia and Elder in front of the WRAMC sign. Signs will be provided.

Find out more about the Walter Reed Hospital vigil.

Follow the Freepers' plans to harass and assault peace vigilers.

Patriots'n'Punks: the Labor Day "Tea Party" in Morristown, New Jersey

Hate-Radio Howlers, Racist Placards Destroy Slight Modicum of Civility

Daryle Lamont Jenkins writes at One Peoples' Project:
We are going to be straight up about this one: We went to the Tea Party in Morristown, NJ on Labor Day because we were compelled to go after we kind of got brought into it after flyers critical of the event started showing up around town, lending speculation that somehow we were organizing a protest. We came away thinking that there are people who do indeed want to address the issue a lot more responsibly than one would think, given the rep they managed to attain for themselves over these past few months. We managed to talk to a number of people there and even though we are not going to agree with each other on everything, it wasn't like we were at each other throats by day's end. We honestly will give props to the organizers for at least giving it a shot of civility. They most certainly earned it. But, alas, we were there. And this was Morristown, the town that gave us our start with a white power rally and a little bit of infamy with Nazis getting slapped around a bit at an anti-immigration rally. If we are in town that means there's a few thorns on the roses. For one, you can't have as speakers racist radio hosts Bob Grant - who was announced but didn't show - Steve Malzberg and some idiot from World Net Daily and expect that civility to last... (more)

Attention, Teabaggers: There Will Not -- Repeat, NOT Be A Counter-Action at the Rally in Morristown, NJ on Labor Day

Daryle Lamont Jenkins writes at One Peoples' Project:

On Labor Day, there is a tea party planned in Morristown, NJ that will feature two radio show hosts that we have profiled here, Bob “I don’t have any problem with the National Alliance” Grant, and Steve “I don’t know any white racists in New York City” Malzberg. Now there has been some people who have questioned their involvement given how much these two characters over the years like to routinely pick fights with black people (don’t ask them about that; they will pretend they don’t know what you are talking about). Well, we contacted one of the organizers, Maryann Franzese and left a message on her machine and via email regarding this. She never responded. In fact, the next time we heard from her it was on Friday. She called Malzberg’s radio show on WOR-AM in New York to complain about us and someone who attended the meeting that concerned her – and apparently Steve since he cut her off before she got into the details of that concern, like how the man brought up when Steve once suggested that police break up a protest of black Rutgers students using their guns and hoses...

There will -- repeat WILL be, however, a new offering of t-shirts bearing the now-infamous "Teabagger" cartoon for sale over at Mike Flugennock's Cartoon Schwag Shop.

'Teabagger' Cartoon: Why the Freepers Rage

Jumping back about a month and a half,
Daryle Lamont Jenkins over at One Peoples' Project gives us a look at the kind of racism that's rampant over at Freak... uh, FreeRepublic.com, perhaps explaining why they're so touchy at seeing themselves and their ilk depicted as, well, racists:

Freak Republic In Trouble Over Racist Comments Toward Malia Obama

13 July 2009:
This has been making the internet rounds for the past few days, and you can expect more to come out of this today on MSNBC. For some reason, the posters our favorite right-wing smear website Freak Republic can't seem to understand why everyone is so upset over them seeing Malia Obama wearing a peace sign t-shirt and calling her "Ghetto street trash", "A typical street whore" and other sick and racist things. That's right, we are talking about the same people who went after David Letterman over his jokes about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Maybe they are still ticked off over the fact that while Sarah Palin's poll numbers dropped just before she resigned her seat for no reason (oh, wait she actually blamed Letterman), Dave's ratings have gone up since the jokes that got the conservatives all in a tizzy. Let us remember that Letterman apologized twice, even though many said he had nothing to apologize for, especially since the "outrage" over his jokes looked nothing more than a contrived political campaign...
